With 18 years of practical IP management experience, Solomon spearheads the direction of the Intellect Group to make sure that it is constantly on the forefront of meeting the Intellectual Property consultation needs of the business community.

A registered Trademark agent with an MBA from the University of South Australia, his natural foresight and business acumen saw him specializing in wholistic IP management soon after the beginning of his career. In 1993, he founded the Intellect Group that went on to conquer a 70 percent market share in Northern Malaysia – providing IP consultation in trademark, patent, copyright and industrial design matters.

Joanne co-founded the Intellect Group with Solomon, bringing with her operational and administrative background thanks to her Bachelor of Public Administration honours degree from UUM.

Also an IP professional, Joanne is a Registered Trademark as well as Industrial Design Agent. With more than 15 years of experience in the field, she has the technical and procedural know-how of trademark, industrial design, copyright and patent at her fingertips. Joanne’s strength lies in overseeing the operations of the Intellect Group – making sure that the services delivered are technically accurate, timely and cost-effective.

Bryan is the Executive Directors of Intellect Patent & Innovation Sdn Bhd, a member of the Intellect Group. He graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, majoring in Mechatronics. He went on to obtain his MBA from the University of South Australia.

As a Registered Patent Agent and Industrial Design Agent and with his all-round abilities, Bryan dispels the nerdy engineer myth – the testaments to which being his involvement in inter-company badminton games, charity work and excellent client relationship management skills.

The pioneer and the longest with the firm, Siew Siew is a seasoned Intellectual Property manager at Intellect.

One of the most dedicated staff that pioneered the Intellect Group along with its co-founders, her hands-on IP practice has been enhanced and consolidated when she attended an IP management trainers' course conducted in Japan by the Japan Patent office. Siew Siew is highly well-versed with local Trademark registration, as well as experienced in helping companies identify their needs in patent and industrial design registration.

Bee Cheng has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and Accounts administration, assisting the Intellect Group in identifying quality human capital for the Intellect Team as well as managing accounts and the company budget to maintain a sound cash flow and constantly updated financial status.

She also oversees purchasing where her negotiation skills have proven effective in helping the company acquire purchases at competitive pricing while maintaining a cordial working relationship with the vendors.

Alex heads the Trademark and Copyright department at Intellect Worldwide, leading his team of experienced trademark executives in various trademark prosecution matters. From trademark pre-consultation, search and filing, to opposition and renewal matters – they have the Trademark needs of our clients covered from every angle.

As a Registered Trade Mark Agent armed with an honours bachelor's degree in law from the University of Northumbria, Alex's trained legal mind complements his practical Trademark work – making him an expert prosecutor in Trademark opposition matters. He has been instrumental in assisting many of our clients defend their Trademark rights in the face of infringement and opposition.
